The Lions Club of Lugarno is raising $10,000 to help eight-year-old Tiaré and other children with a disability walk for the first time in their lives. With your support, we can make this happen. 100% of the money we receive will be going towards the purchase of the walker.

What does a walker do?

It is a walking aid that provides partial weight-bearing postural support with mobility. The frame supports body weight which will give young Tiaré the ability to walk around freely and unaided, giving her the ability to explore, play and socialise.


Australian Lions Children's Mobility Foundation

   

A major focus for fundraising for any Lions Club is in the area of children’s health. The Australian Lions Children’s Mobility Foundation (ALCMF) is a foundation setup to provide mobility aids for children suffering cerebral palsy.

The Foundation endeavors to provides mobility aids such as the famous Hart Walker, and various other aids, to any child that is assessed by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance to be in need.
